meh it wasnt as good as i thought
Mount would not fit on a standard picitinny rail and the plastic looked like it wanted to break when i finally got it to fit. On the upside i could get my flashlight to fit. If only it could stick to my rifle...
Lightweight and Effective
This is a lightweight, effective, and inexpensive way to mount a handheld tactical light on your pic rail-equipped firearm. I used it to put a now discontinued Inforce handheld light at nine o'clock on my carbine. It tucks the light right up next to the front sight and makes it very accessible to my left thumb; it would work just as well at three o'clock for left-handers.

Don’t bother, get a Magpul mount instead
This mount is not confidence inspiring. It works okay, but feels flimsy. It’s also not very adaptable — you can either fit .8 inch OR 1 inch lights, nothing in between. For the money, Magpul’s rail light mount offers more adjustability, a better feeling polymer, and a more solid lockup, plus has the ability to mount scout lights directly. And all for a similar price point.

I want to write another review for this, considering it has lasted me 15 years getting knocked around in airsoft battles, and sitting on a self defense gun. It’s always been the mount to my 6p led flashlight, and still getting used today. The position is perfect for me mounted on the top or side. If the flashlight slips under fire it can be secured by wrapping with e-tape. I’ve looked at all the mounts and been very thankful to have had this one so long.

nice idea, poor execution
This has worked okay as a flashlight mount for over 10 years, mostly bc I used it for air soft games

Pretty much garbage
Saying ‘ most sizes 0.80”-1” ‘ is ridiculous to say, when they really mean exactly 0.8 OR exactly 1”. There is no give in the plastic shim or main piece to allow for, say, a 0.82-0.85” light. Do yourself a favor and get the Odin or DD mount and a 1” flashlight and be done trying to find a ****ing light solution for your rifle. This isn’t it.

Weak mount
This is a cheap plastic peice of garbage, ordered it for an old 300 lumen surefire light I had laying around. The light has a .90 inch body which this mount is supposed to fit but had to thicken with electrical tape to hold it, also comes with a extra body peice for bigger lights that is also garbage, the worst part is when you tighten the screws down the whole clamp mount bends so you can't even fully tighten it

Exactly what was needed
Buddy recommended this for home defense set-up and it is well-made, easy to add on and came very quickly. For my light, I had to remove the inner gasket for proper fit. Light is mounted securely. Ambidextrous.

Poor design
Set screws are too short which makes it a pain to get started. Clamp flexes when tightened. Rings do not come off to clamp your light on. Have to slide light into rings which is pretty much useless. Design overall is trash.

Better mounts available at equivalent price
I was hesitant to purchase a flashlight mount made of polymer, and in hindsight I should’ve follow instinct. I used this product to secure a SureFire p2x fury defender to my home defense ar15. The flashlight itself securely fit in the mount with no movement or play, mounting to the rail was not the same story, did not seem as secure and left a huge gap where the mount clamps on to the pic rail. My opinion is, this would be an ok flashlight mount for a plinking or competition gun, however I would not trust this mount on my go to rifle.

Not the one.
This mount looks good in the photos. It will fit .8 or 1" lights and that's great, but the way the picatinny mount clamps to the rails leaves a lot to be desired. Since the mount is made entirely of polymer there is a lot of flex. So much so that it doesn't sit even perpendicular to the rail, but at an angle instead. If it's this style of mounting you're wanting just spend the money on the Vltor QD mount. It looks a lot like this but is made of aluminum and has a push button QD removal. You won't be sorry you did. Returning.
