Extremely comfortable - Viking Tactics TRX Extreme Viking Rail - Black

I installed the 13 inch version on a 16" mid-length rifle. It was easy to install once I was able to remove the existing hardware on the barrel. I would suggest an action block, some PB blaster,barrel nut wrench, and the proper punches to get the FSB off.
The supplied barrel nut wrench works perfectly for the Troy barrel nut, but it not the correct size to remove the existing barrel nut. Once you have the Troy barrel nut installed, you simply slide the rail over the barrel and twist it into place. There is a firm and distinct snap. So far, the hand guard has not shown any signs of coming loose.
I have what I would consider normal-sized hands. I like the looks of quadrailed hand guards, but they feel bulky to hold. With the absence of full length rails at the 3, 6, and 9 o'clock positions, the gripping area is smooth and I can get a firm hold on it.
Pros: Easy to install, comfortable to hold, rail sections add modularity
