Comfortable, durable, and pockets where you want them
These may not be the fanciest stretch fabric, but they are very durable without being overly thick or bulky. The cargo pockets are flatter than any others I have, and the top of the cargo pockets have a slot that is the perfect size for a phone or 30rd AR magazine to fit without fear of falling out.
Dedicated pen/knife pockets just behind the traditional front pocket are great for getting your EDC out of the way, but right where it should be.
The relaxed fit and expansion waist is nice and comfortable allowing you to not feel too tight or restricted at the waist, but does create the need to wear a belt with them. As soon as I had keys, wallet and phone in there, they wanted to ride down after a bit of walking. No problem since most of us are wearing a belt regardless. Enough expansion to handle any IWB carry comfortably, and easily.
