Our best choices if we could have current sight configurations the way we want after extensive testing on the aforementioned sights. Direct sunlight: TFO in the rear and a Trijicon HD Orange in the front. Cloudy: TFO and maybe TFX but we haven’t tried them. Dark no light: TFO. But upgrade to T...

Most Helpful Negative Review Tru tg13xd1pc tfx pro sf xd set

The sites work well in the daylight and in total darkness but in dim light the site is not very visible. I was a little disappointed in that fact. I have it installed on a Springfield Armory XDM compact 40 caliber 3.8.

Dull sites

by XDS Man, Verified Owner from CT, United States Written on February 25, 2026

The front and rear sites were loose and bouncing around in the container when they arrived. Along with that had glue all over them. The front and rear sites a not very bright even after exposure to light for 24 hours. Lastly the front and rear sites have a gap between them and the slide onstalled on an XDS Mod 2 45 ACP.

Sight alignment is low

by Nate, Verified Owner from FL, United States Written on June 17, 2025

Sights were easy to install, like the sight picture. Only drawback is I find my myself shooting low, so it will take some range time to correct.

Went in surprisingly easy

by Nort, Verified Owner from KS, United States Written on August 8, 2020

Springfield xds 9 2.0. I’ve don’t sights on shields in the past. Stock sights came out easier. New sights went in easier. No freezer required. Use a flat file and triangle file to get all of the powder coat off.

Did not work on receipt

by RPVX5, Verified Owner from CA, United States Written on December 9, 2019

Right out of the box, none of the 3 fibers glowed. All broken. Very disappointing. If they can't survive shipping, don't know how they could withstand recoil. Easy return policy though, I'll try another brand.

Truglo TFX Pro

by Richard, from TX, United States Written on July 6, 2019

These sights are anazing!! I can see these sights in the dead of night laying on my nightstand. They are also the easiest sights that i have ever had on any handgun I own. I JUST ORDERED 3 MORE SETS. A HIGHLY RECOMMENDED ADDITION!

Super sights

by Rick, from IL, United States Written on July 3, 2018

First set of sights I've ever purchased to replace factory sights on anything I own. These are so much better than what came on my XD. I can see so much better and follow up shots are much faster. I like everything about these, the colors and the U-notch are fantastic. Not sure if I'll ever use the rear sight to one hand rack since I'm an old guy but it's nice that it's there. Would recommend anyone looking at new sights to look at these as one of their options. Pice from OpticsPlanet wass the lowest I could find and the shipping was pretty fast. Will look at getting more of the same to replace other factory sights this fall.

Pros:

Good contrast between the front and rear sight.

Cons:

Still fairly hard to see in pitch black.

Best Used for:

Best for low light to full light use.

Good relief for aging eyea

by Vincent, from LA, United States Written on June 4, 2018

Fast shipping and very good quality sights. Much higher quality than the standard sights, which are good, but no as adequate for my aging eyes. The sights enable me to pick up targets faster with my XD MOD.2 Service 9mm.

TFX PRO SIGHTS

by JD, from IA, United States Written on April 2, 2018

These are an awesome upgrade to the stock xdm sights. My buddy wants to replace his trijicon sights with these after using mine. Very bright day and night. Target acquisition is faster and easier. I swapped these myself with a fisher sight tool.

WOW Brite!!

by Orlando Delgado, from CA, United States Written on December 15, 2017

Replaced the 3 dot sights on my Springfield XD with these and what a difference!!! Got a great price and a rebate on top of that so made them a great deal. Installing them myself using a sight pusher (Local gunsmith wanted $75 and three week wait)took about 30 minutes total.

Love the sites on my Springfield xde.

by Judy, from TN, United States Written on September 15, 2017

Replaced the sites that came on my new Springfield xde with these sites and love them. Great in the sun, shade and especially night time. The orange around the front sitecteally catches your eye for fast lineup.
