I hunt in New York State public land, mostly. And I have to hike very far to get into good areas away from parking areas. I need to dress light then immediately layer up when I get settled because the Adirondacks and Catskills are cold. I got the jacket and pants and they are super comfortable. Worth every penny. Fair warning. The material doesn’t look like it will hold up to abuse. So no bush whacking. This is strictly sit and watch.

compaired to my sons very high end puffy jacket (forget name but starts with k) . quality is the same and for $170 less.folds up small and easly. great quality zippers. great camo.very warm and windproof.

TrueTimber Jacket
I bought to go elk hunting in. Then came the brutal storms that left 6” of ice. My “puffies” saved my life. Ended up wearing around the clock. Now family wants them after seeing how good equipment can save your life and make a real bad situation at least tolerable.

Excellent Jacket!
I recently purchased this True Timeber Kanatai Camo Jacket with hood and it fit as expected. After having read the review and specs. I was concerned about the level of warmth it would provide. Upon receiving the Jacket it was clear the jacket was well made although the fabric had slight shine when in the sunlight. Importantly it fit me well and was true to the XL sizing. When I went out in very cold weather of 15 degrees with winds of 20 Miles per hour and light snow I found it to be exceptionally warm. I was very comfortable wearing the Jacket with its hood perfectly covering my head and neck. I am looking forward to using this jacket when hunting Moose in the fall.

Light and warm
Fits like a true Medium. Was able to layer base layer and one layer of wool. I’m 5’9, 150. Stayed very warm down in the 30deg temps. Really impressed with the quality. I would purchase again without hesitation.
