It only took me 3 years. But I finally mounted my NOS Truglo tritium + fiber optic sights to my Glock 27, personal carry firearm. I love them. First of all, it is extremely important to have access to one of the “sight pusher” type sight pusher presses to install this type of sight into the tight fit dovetail slot on your firearm slide. Save yourself some $$$ & anguish. Do not attempt to beat the rear sight body into your handgun slide. You might have some degree of success getting it in there. But you won’t like the end result. It will look like a$$ & you will void your sight warranty. I use a Real Avid “Master Sight Pusher” press which I also bought thru Optics Planet for around $150.00. Yeah, it hurt at that moment of purchase, but it’s paid for itself many times over since it arrived. It works really well. Anyway, I installed my new sights & they look great, easy to find sight picture, the sight dots hug the slide very close to the way the factory originals did. The fiber optics provide ample glow in the dim daylight, bright sunshine or the fluorescent lighting conditions at the indoor range I frequently visit. Then, at night or otherwise “dark” conditions, the Tritium Night Sights put off a comfortable glow that facilitates a nice sight picture. Also, I really like the reverse angle machined/formed into the leading edge of the rear sight.
