Fight my 870 express 12 ga shotgun with iron "deer rifle sight" perfect. The gun smith had them on in about 10 minutes. The rear sight screw broke with installation. The gunsmith replaced it with a stronger screw. works great and easy to see. Pros: bright, easy to see compared to iron sights Cons: rear sight screw broke, replaced with a better screw

Icing On The Cake

When you have three 45/70 Marlins for bear hunting for yourself and two grandkids, the only way to make it better than that is to top them off with TruGlow fiber optic sights. They proved to be just as I had expected. Have not shot them in yet. Waiting for cooler weather.

I considered a good option is looking to improve the metallic look of my winchester 44 magnum, hunting boar in thick forest, fast shots without much tienpo to aim.
Good for people with sight worn by age.
lack of shooting adjustment instructions.
difficulty in fitting dovetail front sight, I need strong hammer.

A definite improvement.

Visibility is so much better with these sights. As many have posted, the front does take some filing to fit. Nice option if one would prefer not to drill and tap for side mounted scope or adding a peep sight on the tang.
