Ok for the price
So, let's face it, this isn't a very expensive Red Dot. You're probably looking at it because you don't want to spend $500+ for a higher quality (or better name) red dot or holographic. This one isn't the most expensive nor the cheapest. At this price you are getting a functional system that works fine for the money. It's not bad quality and it works just fine. Most of us looking at red dots in this price range have bought our guns not for combat but for shooting targets, close range hunting, possible home security (did you really buy an AR for home security?), or maybe some kind of zombie apocalypse (right...). That said, you probably don't need a $500+ Red Dot or Holographic. You probably need something in the $200 +/- range to go on your sub-$1500 AR. This is the one to go for. It works, the red dot shape is ok, and it is fairly rugged. If you are looking for a red dot in this price range, go with this one. It will suit your needs just fine. If you're looking for a glam piece to go on your show gun, spend more and get an Aimpoint or EOTech or Holosun.

Nice red dot
I was surprised how well it was built . It almost looks just like the Aimpoint patrol . The dot is very clear and bright . It is light weight and the glass is clear. I have tried many low priced red dots in the last few months and the truglo beats them all hands down.
