I mounted this on a AR platform rifle. Easy with the included Picatinny mount. It is far more solidly built than I expected for the price, springs are strong and the entire unit is QUIET,no loose parts. I recommend this as a great value.
Just what my Grendel needed

Great Pod!
I own several others and nothing else seems to compare to TruGlo. Everything from blind hunting to stalking coyotes in Va mountains and fields... Light, durable, good clean machine work, no snagging and very easy to position. these pods are worth every penny. 5-Star rating.

Cons:
- None that I can think of.
Best Used for:
- Anywhere a solid base is needed.
