nice low profile optic
Mounted on my Ruger 22/45 Mark III sight is very light weight. Sight centers well with my hold. Zero was very close from factory setting. This unit looks as good to me to ones costing much more.

do not buy it.
It was broken when I received it in the mail. it would not adjust to the bore site laser. The laser inside was oval in shape and not round.when it got turned up higher settings the light became more distorted...
Truglo TG8100G
Much nicer than expected ! The quality of this green dot is equal to that of one’s twice the price. Sight window is bigger than I thought would be but that’s a plus. Would buy again. Lifetime warranty too.

Truglo 8100g
Great product. Easy to install. Very minimal adjustments were needed to site this in. Going to purchase a second one. Best bang for your buck. No need to spend hundreds of dollars. This item is perfect.

Best budget pistol red dot!
I initially purchase this micro red dot with little expectation for my XDM compact. However, after purchasing and trying out more expensive higher end red dots, there was little to no difference at all. Well, not for the price at least.
The aircraft aluminum material used to house the lens is sturdy and feels a lot better than most other micro red dots. Matter of fact, a lot of them are made with polymer, ie. SigSauer Romeo Zero.
As for the dot itself, it is crisp and clear with adjustable brightness with rubber up and down arrows on the side.
Lightweight, crisp, reliable, auto shutoff, compact size, reliable zero. Not sure what else you can ask for at this price!!

If zero stars were an option, this earns it
This sight arrived new in the box with the sight body scratched to bare metal in front of the glass in 2 spots. When I tightened the crossbar screw it stripped at 10 ft lbs, though according to the provided instructions it should be torqued to 20 ft lbs. The provided slotted hex wrench broke when I was adjusting the elevation and stripped the head of the elevation screw. I hoped to use it on an AR but it sits way too low and you would need to purchase a riser. I have a Truglo sight on my compound bow and it's awesome, but they missed the mark on this one, especially with a $145 price tag!
