It’s a great sight
I was having a hard time focusing on the stock front sight even after putting some white paint on it so when I came across this I thought at this price it’s worth the chance and I’m glad I did because its a great sight . It’s really easy to pick up and line it up with the rear sight it really made a difference only gripe I do have and why I gave a 4 star was the up/down tool is made of a cheap plastic but other than that it’s a good quality cheap upgrade!!!
Awesome concept, loose fit
The tritium is rad and the ability to adjust it easy and lock the elevation is great but the mount itself is very loose in my arsenal sam7. I can move it left to right with very little finger strength. I will be using something like locktite to try and fix the issue.

Worked with some modification.
I installed this on an AK-V so I'm unsure of any real difference in the front sight and that of any other AK47 front sight. The barrel of the sight fit but was not as tight as the barrel that was already there. I have yet to run the gun since installing and will have to see if it drifts at all. another issue was the sight post was too tall. Threading it down it would bottom out before ever being able to zero. I had to cut the bottom of the threads and sand it smooth before it would thread down enough. This is strictly a backup sight but I still wanted something more than a black post. This sight is much easier to see and the Tritium adds night time visability. Definately don't regret buying but unfortunate that it was not just a simple swap.

Does not fit all ak47’s
I purchased for my palmetto state arms psak47. The included drum is too small for my ak. It just slides in and out with little resistance. Other than that seems to be of good quality, and the tritium glows fine in low light. Maybe I received a bad piece? Or maybe my psak has slightly out of spec front post, I’m not sure because the oe drum is fine.
