An exceptional value. - TRYBE Defense AR Barrel, 9mm Luger

I'm absolutely enamored with this barrel. I assembled a 9mm upper around this barrel that mates to an MK9 lower, using a Faxon Bolt. It chambered every grain weight and bullet type I have used (115, 124,147) .Superb accuracy out 50 yards. I didn't go with a floating handguard, but instead used Magpul MOE carbine grips because the 10½ bbl has just enough length to allow that. I used (repurposed) an Anderson High Rise Picatinny Gas Block to hold the handguard cap in place, and it's a nice way to have a spot for a removable front sight. It has 15" sight radius. The barrel is a good way to replicate a Colt RO635 type upper, however, the last portion of the bbl's outside diameter, just before the muzzle threads, is stepped down to .730, I had to use shim stock to fit up that Anderson Picatinny GB. A 10½ 9mm barrel $99 is a good buy in and of itself. But this barrel is accurate too.
