Works excellent with a variable scope or if you have a magnifier behind your optic.
If you don't have a large scoped and don't use it because when you swing the rifle it is likely to snag. But when you have a large scope, it is less likely to snag because the scope extends outwards on the sides.
If you do have a variable scope or a magnifier, it is very hard to get to the charging handle unless it is slightly oversized.
