Does not open properly when knurled end is installed touching the forward-most tab - TRYBE Defense AR-15 Dust Cover Assembly

Was disappointed to find upon receiving that this was a knurled rod end instead of a c-clip retainer.

As such, the forend and barrel nut needed to be removed to insert the pin/rod from the front towards the stock.

Disappointed to find after installing and reassembling that the dust cover will not flip down as the bolt is worked due to a likely tolerance problem between the cover and the pin.

It locks up tight, unlocks as the bcg is drawn past, but hangs up on the pin. The spring is properly installed but does not have the power to overcome the drag on the pin/cover interface.

It may be because the pin is slightly bent towards the knurled end, no clue. I have to pull the knurling end away from the foremost tab that it goes through in order for the cover to work.

If the pin is slid into the proper position with the knurling touching the tab to retain the assembly, the door wont open. So i have to slide it foreward so it is positioned loosely and allowed to float until it contacts the barrel nut or collar.

Likely slightly out of spec poor qc has resulted in a poor product.
