Better Than Expect
I purchased this upper on a whim. It was priced right for what I needed it to be. Being completely knew to .300 AAC, and given the price, my expectations were low. When it was received, I not iced that none of the laser etching was anywhere to be seen except for on the barrel. I had planned on painting anyway, so no biggie for me. I also noticed that the rail seemed to be a bit subpar. I replaced it immediately with a spare Midwest Industries Combat Rail. A few days later, I went to the range and to my surprise, this thing was not only very accurate, I did not have a single malfunction. I was able to stack 1MOA @50yrds all day with 147gr supers. Color me impressed!

Trybe defense 10.5in upper
I bought the upper to replace the upper that came on a new Delton .300 balckout pistol. The upper looks good and the fit matchess up very well with my Mil-Spec lower. After 600 rounds I can report no malfunction, unlike the upper it's replacing.

So far runs great
Got the 10.5 in complete upper for 300 blackout. Shipping was less than a week and came wrapped good with no defects on anything. I've ran around 200 rounds through it so far with no hang ups or mishaps. I would recommend for anyone to buy

Quality complete upper
I was skeptical pulling it out of the box but I have come to love this Trybe 300blkout complete upper! It’s plain to see and feel the quality Trybe put into it. The only thing I’d recommend to them would be… add an adjustable gas block.

Insanely good value
I admittedly bought this because, for $235, it's hard to be disappointed by a complete upper that fires and will last even a few thousand rounds. I wanted to try out the 300 BLK round without buying a whole new expensive gun, or caliber exchange kit for my MCX and this let me do so. I use it for practical comp shooting and it cycles fine and is accurate enough to grab alphas at speed so I'd call it a win. The handguard looks good and the build quality is as good as any of the low to mid-range ARs I've bought. I was shooting just as well with it as the guy with the DDM4 V7 so it can't be that bad. On top of that I don't feel bad rattle canning this or using it to learn cerakote on either.

Nice, but issues with ramps.
It is a good barrel, shoots straight and accurate for a 10.5"
But... it has feed problems because the ramps are cut for a 223, not 300blk.
The narrower ramps cause feed issues with blunt nosed subsonics... like say a defense round.
If you have the skills to fix the ramps issue, it would be a nice upper.
