This barrel didn't fit in my glock 23 it needs a specific guide spring

The barrel fit into the slide rather well until assembled. Once assembled, it would not go into battery. The charging spring and rod stuck out just under a 1/4” forward of the end of the pistol. Finish was nice, fit was just obnoxiously off when seated in the slide.

My product was delivered quickly and was as presented. The only thing I would recommend would be a better tracking system. I got one tracking number but could not follow it as time went be, no updates at all. All in all a quality experience.

The Trybe Glock 23 40 to 9mm conversion barrel had good reviews so I decided I'd give it a try, not to mention the AlphaWolf barrels were out of stock. Upon receiving the barrel, I attempted to install it in the slide. It was a no-go. I broke out my micrometer and compared it to the Glock OEM 40 barrel. The Trybe barrel was out of spec... Returns are always time consuming, plus I enjoy making things work and was a certified armorer, so I broke out a fine file and honing stone and went to work. After an hour or so (yes, more time than a return), I had the barrel fitted and functioning. The accuracy was good which is the reason for the 2 star, below average, review. In the process of fitting this barrel, I basically had to remove the coating down to bare metal to get the barrel to seat into the slide. Likely, the non-coated barrels are true drop-ins, but this one was far from being a drop-in.

Had to return! Did not fit in my gen 3, or 4th gen Glock 23. Well, it fit into the slide, but too much material where the guide rod makes contact with the barrel. Guide rod stuck out the front of the slide about a 1/4 inch. Pain in the butt to take back out.

Shipped fast and quality looks to be great. Have t gotten to test it yet but fit and finish seem great.

Worked as advertised. Dropped this barrel in, used a G19 mag and 115 grain bullets.THATS ALL I DID. NOTHING ELSE. 150 rounds through it and worked great.

Works flawlessly. Impressed with the accuracy of the barrel too.

So I just received this to day and everyone said it takes sanding it down to fit but when I put mine in today yea it didn't want to go on at first but then I just held the slide release down when I slid it on The first time and it went on fine I've taken out about 10 times today and it never acted like it wasn't gonna fit again. Plus this thing makes my g23 look amazing I highly recommend the Gold TiN threaded version

This barrel turned my accurate 40cal into a useless 9mm noise maker. This is the most inaccurate barrel I have ever shot. On a bench rest, this barrel shot almost 12" to the left of bullseye at 20'. Didn't even hold a good grouping to the left, it was all over the place to the left. Closest shot to shot was 2 1/2",but most were 3" or more. With my 40cal barrel in my Glock 23, it locks up tight. you can shake it around and hear nothing. With this barrel installed, you can shake it and it sounds like you have a rock in a can. I have used many different conversion kits in my time and this is by far the worst I have ever used. That saying," you get what you pay for" is dead on with this one. Save up and buy better quality brand.
