Incredibly light, with some caveats. - TRYBE Defense AR-15 Magnesium Alloy Go Fast Ultra Lightweight M-LOK Handguard w/ Cut Top Rail

I have a few of these, but be forewarned, the spec'd screw torque will strip the handguard. I didn't have any problems like other people with the barrel nut. But, I did strip one of the handguard screws. So when I mounted the remaining handguards, I backed off the torque spec. It's not an ideal situation because I fear the handguard may now move. They haven't yet, but they might under stress. I also fear how fragile these handguards might be with hard use. So, I wouldn't put them on a rifle if your job requires you to carry a duty rifle. But for civilians just hitting the range or 3-gun competitions, these are excellent handguards that really lighten your rifle.

Normally I would only give 1 star to any handguard where a screw stripped the screw channel and I questioned the durability. The reason I'm giving 4 stars is because of the crazy weight savings over aluminum and the crazy price savings over carbon. The price/weight savings is currently unparalleled. I hope Trybe introduces a Magnite Gen 2 to correct some of the problems people are experiencing.
