Went back and forth between screws too much (just below the porper torque value) and stripped a hole in one of them. The other example went on without issue and has held up a couple hundred rounds. Just be extra careful on install. Wish the 12-inch model extended to rifle-length gas blocks - the same way the 7-inch model extends to a carbine gas block - but close enough.

The product seems to be of good quality, but I thought the description said it included a tool and directions to install the barrel nut. It had neither.

Good choice for a low cost build. Put this Ultra Lightweight M-LOK Handguard on a 22lr build. I was lookiing for something light weight and budget.

My title is very straight forward. This handguard is great for what it is. Budget friendly since it’s on sale for less than 100 dollars, super light weight, paint is solid, looks really nice, barrel nut and handguard mate super tight when you tighten down the screws even when under torqued. This is for a mid tier budget build but honestly I dig it enough that I’d buy it again if it was on sale when I want to do another build like this. I will say the barrel nut does feel sketchy just because it’s extremely light weight. It torqued down fine. I noticed when torquing down the handguard screws you hear a slight crackling noise. Almost like breaking in the eyelids on a new fishing pole with a big fish. Feels super solid for now though. No real complaints. If you’re planning on running a larger muzzle decide id do your homework to make sure it will fit... It’s tighter than you’d think ;) lol. Low profile gas block fits fine.

This hg is super light which is what I was looking to swap out for to shave weight on a build

This thing weights absolutely nothing and is well built with no problems I can notice. I got the 12 inch version but with they offered it in a 10.5 variant but nothing wrong with the product itself they do have a 9 inch version buy that was too short for what I was looking for. This handguard is going to lighten up my build for sure when paired with my other light weight components!

Listed torque spec (35ft-lb) resulted in shearing immediately forward of threads

The screws stripped with less than the advertised max torque. DO NOT BUY THIS HANDGUARD!!! I have never seen such a weak piece of hardware.
