Barrel Nut is Out-of-Spec
The threads on the barrel nut were not cut deep enough. Therefore, the receiver's threads will bottom out, which will result in stripping of the aluminum threads. trybe magnite handguard
This handguard is really nice. Looks great, feels great, very light. But I cannot give it 5 stars.
I read and followed the instructions and torqued down the two mounting bolts correctly and all was well. Then I removed the HG to fit it tighter against the upper receiver and the bolts failed - upon loosening them! There was a thin wire in the threads that backed off when I removed the bolts and without that the bolts would not retighten. So I replaced them with a new longer bolt and nut and all is good. Doesn’t look factory but nice enough for me.

I can’t believe this was so cheap! Fit and finish on my 15” FDE is flawless, it’s extremely light yet very sturdy and it just looks good. Installation was very easy, I had read some reviews complaining about the barrel nut not being good quality, I torqued mine to 50 ft lbs and had no issues. If you want a great looking, light weight handguard that won’t break the bank this is a must buy.

Looks good for the price
I needed a cheap handguard to throw on a BCA upper I bought just for fun. It does the job and honestly looks pretty good. I followed the instructions and didn’t overtighten the screws, and I had zero issues with anything stripping.

Good price on the item I have been eyeing for a while, I bought this as a price buster deal for this ultra light hand guard and an ultra light pic rail. I am building another AR riflle with light weight hardware and this fits the bill without breaking the bank.

Tricky to put on right, but holds up if you do
Went back and forth between screws too much (just below the porper torque value) and stripped a hole in one of them. The other example went on without issue and has held up a couple hundred rounds. Just be extra careful on install. Wish the 12-inch model extended to rifle-length gas blocks - the same way the 7-inch model extends to a carbine gas block - but close enough.
