The hand guard is lightweight but barrel nut is fragile and the QD slot isn’t big enough for a QD sling. My barrel nut broke when I was torquing it down to 40ft which I thought would be ok because there are no torque specs that come with it except for the mounting screws on the side. At least I had spare barrel nuts from previous projects.
