I gave this handguard 4 stars, not the best but a bargain at $32. Mlok slots look water jetted but things fit fine. Actual length of this 7" is 7 1/4". I had to file on the tabs that locate handguard to upper but no biggie. This thing is wispy light, barrel nut seems to be same alloy and not steel... kind of spongy almost (anyone familiar with magnesium knows what I'm talking about) but nut didn't smear on the wrench flats. I think it's perfect for what I have it on. As always Optics Planet delivered fair price, accurate fulfillment, and fast shipping.
