Handguard was as described, functions very well. Perfect fit for my project. Special shout out to Paul in customer service for standing behind this product and his great customer service.

The hand guard is very light and looks good, that’s why I purchased it. The barrel nut is very thin and made of aluminum, I put assembly grease on it and torqued it to 40 ft and backed it off, tried to torque it to 45 lb and the nut cracked. I have installed over 15 ar barrels and I get my torque wrench calibration every year. This hand guard is useless to me now, I would not recommend this for anyone to use.

It was cheap enough to buy it and try it but it didn't end up fitting on my anderson upper that I wanted to put it on so it went and the spare part, it's bin or now

Just got this free float handguard. I like the size. Not too big and bulky. The first thing I found was the 2 tabs. Supposed to be for anti twist, but they wouldn't line up with any place on my upper. As noted in other reviews, I grabbed the Dremel and ground them off. Hit the shiny spots with some black marker and all is good. Had just the right clearance for my AGB. Once I get this to the range, if it works as well as it feels I will probably get a couple more to replace the bulky keymods on a couple other guns.

I ordered this and did not read the description completelyit stated barrel nut and screws missing and they were correct. I called to see if I could return and they said no backsies. So I have a nice handguard with no barrel nut. READ THE DESCRIPTION!!!

I need to start off by saying I have many trybe products including handguards. Very much like their products price versus quality is often on point. Unfortunately, this specific item was a large disappointment. While hand tightening and fitting everything just to see how everything looks and how far the muzzle device will stick out, again not applying any significant torque one of the screws that hold the handrail together at the bottom to tighten it stripped and started pulling aluminum through the screw hole. I'm sure this was just to improper Milling but unfortunately this item was labeled as final sale from opticsplanet and I do not believe I will be able to get a return or replacement. I have no problem with the replacement because again I very much enjoy products from this brand and often have no issues. I suppose this review is just a caution you may get one that you're unable to use but out of four handrails that I've purchased either from opticsplanet or other places this is the only one that I've had any issue with.

Very well made, hi quality & noticeably lighter. Comfortable to hold.

I bought the 7" handguard. Used a Dremel to remove the anti-rotation tabs due to my 9mm PCC not having slots. Don't over tighten the screws. I think this is magnesium. I used a sling loop on the picatinny to act as an anti-rotation device. This handguard doesn't have QD mount holes. The holes in it are lightening cuts. Not qd. Add an MLOK qd if you want. It works great on 8.5 PCC. Would buy again.

just dont crank it down like it says not to do and its a Handguard that works
