Most Helpful Negative Review Won’t cycle defensive ammo
Got this to carry however the barrel won’t cycle my freedom munitions JHP. Tried the stock barrel and had no issues…. Tried the trybe again and again had malfunction issues.

My Experiment

I own a S&W Shield Plus 30 Super Carry and wanted to see if the slide from some of the older Smiths would work on my grip frame. It does and this barrel was part of the experiment. Shoots fine out of the M&P Shield 9mm M2.0 slide being used on the Shield Plus frame for the super carry. Two calibers in one pistol.

will not cycle a JHP and barely cycle a 115grain fmj

Kind of bummed about it not cycling 124grain JHP. I am about to run 100 rounds of 115 FMJ tomorrow hopefully it loosen it up alittle. Don’t get me wrong I did not expect much for a $35 gold barrel but dang.

  • looks and maybe thats it hopefully the 115grain will atleast shoot
