Amazing recoil reduction
Purchased this break for my CVA Scout in .300 BO … the recoil before installing was not bad but did have a lot of muzzle jump … after installing the jump was practically eliminated allowing me to stay on target … this handgun is a little louder after installation but I don’t think the coyotes will...

Line up is bad
For the price, you would expect it to align in a way you would expect it to, but it does not. It is off by about 1/4 on an inch when tightened properly. In other words, the holes where the pressure is released when fired, does not come out evenly on the sides when mounted. It makes this product look...

Awesome muzzle brake that simply brings a smile to my face!
So, I installed this brake on my newly build 16' ar-15, and install was a breeze with the included crush washer. Took the gun out to the range and... OMG, was it loud. It caught me off guard and I started to doubt whether is was a good idea or not. Then I put a few more rounds through it.... Then a few more.... Then a few more... Before I knew it, I was smiling like a fool and simply enjoying the experience. Yes, its loud. Yes, the concussion hits you pretty good. Yes, the brake did its job and kept the barrel on target with noticeably lighter recoil. Yes, this will make you smile like a fool as you annoy everybody else around you.

trybe muzzle break
I think the muzzle break is great. But I'm having to buy other washers just to time it.

No flats. Mystery alloy. Spin it on and weld it, call it done, or just leave it on the shelf, junk.
This is not even a effort, and I love how the other reviews are helpful when the dudes have simply spun it on the gun with no clue what to do next. Id say a lot of these end up downrange. Tryhard is more accurate. Like costume gun parts. Owner can't even describe how they install. Cmon, this ain't business, this is laughable. Try a lot harder, like a LOT.
Pros:
- Can throw at intruders.
Cons:
- You're getting conned if you buy it.
Best Used for:
- Landfill

Haven't shot it yet
I'm posting this to get the bot to leave me alone. I now get why people post reviews when they haven't thoroughly used the product. I havent fired my AR with this in place yet, but I did install it. Seems to be of decent quality, and not overly heavy as some brakes are. However- another reviewer really beat it up for not having flats so you can use a wrench to time it. I figured he was just "That guy". Now that I have it on the gun, I see his point but it's not that big a deal. I used a taped up screwdriver and carefully tightened and then relaxed pressure on the crush washer to time the brake. When I was done I was surprised to see some slight marring / deformation of the steel (Chinesium?) Where the padded screw driver shaft made contact with the port on the brake that I used. It wasnt anything major, but it did happen and is noticible. You've been warned.
Pros:
- price and weight
Cons:
- Metal is a bit soft

break is well finished
This is a finely finished break works well on my 7.62x39, all breaks should include a timing nut it would be less trouble to achieve proper orientation.

Stupid garbage
Only realized there's no way to wrench on properly till after I ordered it. Gonna have to re-install when I get some red locktight. Wrapped tape around screwdriver shaft to tighten it...spend the extra money on a real brake like lantac..this may ve good if you plan on pin and weld otherwise stay away from this junk.
