It dropped right in to the m&p 2.0 compact- unlike the more expensive Faxon barrel which did not fit at all and was going to take a gunsmith and probably cost more money than I spent even buying the gun, and it definitely came with the O-ring on it, which a lot of people were saying it wouldn't on line.

I have an M&P 2.0 compact 4inch and this barrel did not "drop-in" whatsoever. The chamber hood was too long and wide to allow the barrel to seat properly into the slide. Disappointed.

Shoots great i thought i would have to resight in. when i check with the laser bore sight it was on still

Fit well with no tweaking. Looks like a quality piece. Threading good on the barrel.

It's the gold tin barrel for me. Fitment was well in spec. Dropped right in. Have cycled through probably 150+ rounds of 9mm 115 grain without any problems. Either my accuracy is improving or this barrel is right on par with my stock M&P barrel. The finish is stunning. Great value for the price, I think. I would recommend.

I bought this barrel and about 1/3 rounds get hung up, it doesnt feed well at all. I replaced it with a barrel by silencer co and it is 1000X better. This is honestly a barrel that should just go into the trash can.

So far soo good. At first I was not able to get the barrel to sit properly but after a good amount of gun oil and elbow grease the barrel was able to sit flush with the slide . For the money it's a good threaded barrel for the M&P

I want to update my review on this barrel. The product is of good quality and will work with the correct S&W pistol. Unfortunately the product description was incorrect for this item stating it would fit the S&W 2.0 compact 9mm. I contacted OP & they referred me to contact Trybe directly for warranty. Trybe acknowledged this is not the correct barrel for the compact model apologized and helped make it right for me through OP. Service was top notch and they demonstrated accountability. I did find the correct barrel on OP that fit like OEM for my compact. Check out Faxon. Thank you Trybe & OP for taking care of this.

I should’ve followed the posted reviews and not even risk the purchase of this barrel. It is not a drop in barrel rather a gun smithing project. I’m not about to alter this and would have concern about performance. Waste of time and will not purchase Trybe again..sorry OP but you can do much better than this. Either the description for which as& W models is incorrect or bad craftsmanship. I wish I could post a photo with side/side barrel comparison. SMH
