Nice sight
This micro red dot was easy to install and looks great. Nice clean low profile lines fit great in the holster and zero this thing in was a breeze. The price point made this little sight too attractive to pass up on. I fully recommend this sight
elevation wouldnt adjust
Mounted on my pistol went to the range. Tried adjusting for elevation no dot movement. Sent back for store credit

Great Red Dot
I bought this because I was looking for a more budget minded dot to just put on a 22 pistol. I am extremely impressed. It’s great quality all around and has held zero after many hundred rounds. I wasn’t expecting it to be as great as it is but I’d buy another one for sure. It would be the one I’d recommend to anyone who wants a more budget dot 1000 percent.
Pros:
- Intuitive, great quality
Cons:
- None
Best Used for:
- Budget minded people
Would recommend: Yes
good red dot
only thing i didn't like about it is you need a super tiny allen wrench to adjust it i wish they would of just made it like a regular slot screw driver like most red dot sights the tiny Allen wrench is very easy to lose
Pros:
- bright and compact
- afforable
- good all round
Cons:
- Sight adjustment tool could be a little bigger for turning turret's.
Would recommend: Yes
Made in China. Certainly not an RMR. Good enough (I guess) for my laser training pistol.
I needed an MRDS for my new $200.00 Mantis Titan X. I certainly didn't think an RMR was worth putting on a laser training pistol. (I own five centerfire pistols outfitted with RMRs.) So I surfed the web for a really cheap but relatively OK-quality red dot sight. I found this Trybe MRDS on sale in Optics Planet, the cheapest I could find. I read in other sites that it's made in the USA. Relatively highly rated. So I said, "Why not?" When I received the unit, the first thing I noticed is how cheaply it's made. Thin plastic all over. Poor instructions. "Made in China" printed in very small characters, very easy to miss, inside the battery compartment. CR2032 battery falling out of its compartment easily. An MRDS I certainly would not trust to put on any of my firearms. But on the Titan X, I certainly would not have to worry about recoil destroying the Trybe. Installation was fairly simple. And so was zeroing the unit. The box came with three sets of mounting screws, each for a different firearm. I used the ones for an SA Hellcat. I believe this Trybe MRDS will last a fairly long time, seeing that it will not be undergoing the stress of a real firearm. I gave it three stars for its cheap construction, and with a suspension of judgement on how long it will be trouble-free.
Pros:
- Cheapest price I could find.
Cons:
- Made in China. Cheap construction. Poor instructions.
Best Used for:
- Laser training pistol

Screw broke and cost me money
I put the sight on my pistol, shot about 5 rounds. Noticed it was loose and unscrewed the right one and the sight just fell off because the left screw snapped in half while firing the gun. Couldn't get the broken screw out myself and had to take it to a gunsmith and it's costing me $100.
Pros:
- None
Cons:
- cheap screws

TRYBE rsmc 3 moa
Attached this to my sig 365, being it has the rsmc footprint it lined up beautiful with the slide and does not get hung up on the draw. Sleek and powerful red dot 3 moa. Works perfect for the sight glass size. Overall been a great product couldn’t be happier with the purchase for the price point. Metal frame unlike others in the price range.

Trybe Optics Red Dot
Although it is way too early to discuss long term reliability and durability, I can say that this far this is a really good Red Dot, especially for the home defense shotty. The dot is crisp and clear. The window is sufficient for two eye viewing and target acquisition. And the shake-on functions flawlessly, so you don’t have to worry about finding buttons in the dark at 3am. The fit is really tight the first time when installing over the threaded inserts but once it has been installed and you reinstall it fits perfectly and snug.
Pros:
- Crispness of the reticle
Cons:
- None
Would recommend: Yes
