Expert Review Ideal tool for efficient target ranging - TRYBE Optics DiMA1000 Laser Rangefinder

Got a chance to go to an outdoor range that had steel targets ranging out to 1000 yards. My TRYBE DiMA1000 locked in on each target as I worked my way through sets of targets starting at 50 yards all the way out to the 1000 yard gong. The DiMA made the long range course infinitely easier to complete than using a handheld rangefinder. I've used this in temperatures ranging from 28 degrees to 90 degrees farenheight with no issues with battery life. Prior to purchasing the DiMA, I had concerns about the review on here that was critical of battery performance in cold weather. They day I got it, I stuck it in my zero degree freezer just to see what would happen. Took it out after an hour or so and yes, the battery indicator showed it was low, but as the unit warmed up within a few minutes, the battery indicator showed it back to full charge. I haven't had to change out that battery since. Battery life in gear like this will always suffer in extremely cold temperatures whether it is this, a thermal optic, laser sight, or electronic night vision. It comes with the territory and keeping spare batteries on hand is standard operating procedure when you're out in the field. Overall, I am very happy with my purchase.
