Most Helpful Positive Review Coyote Brown 5 in line review
I mount this pouch on my plate carrier. Unlike past TUFF in line mag pouches, this carrier has no snap to lock this to the MOLLE webbing once it has been interwove between the webbing. I have found no problems with this current pouch coming undone as long as one weaves it between the webbing and tucks the ending strap back in. Once that is done it locks just fine. It is much easier and faster to do once one actually does this. Personally I would prefer the original strap snap lock, but this is how they are made now and that is that. All in all a great product that also works on the belt as sta...

Just what ya need

by Winterface, from KY, United States Written on May 2, 2021
The Tuff five in line works perfectly on my battle/duty belts. I use glock so I know it holds 18rd magazines with no problems. I thought of it a bit on the expensive side plus the description says with belt. It does not come with one. I was let down thinking I had made a decent purchase. All in all though the five-in-line keep my mags tightly secure to my belt.
Pros:
  • Back side pals webbing and removable cover
Cons:
  • A bit expensive for just a pouch

Very good in line mag pouch

by StevieGJD, Verified Owner from CA, United States Written on July 27, 2020
I bought this for Glock 17 mags. It works perfectly for carrying 5 of them. The fabric is very sturdy and it appears that it will not rip or tear. The mags fit well and the pouch attaches well to a belt. This is a great product.
Pros:
  • good price
  • Looks cool
  • Strong & well made.
  • Well constructed
  • Mags fit snug
Cons:
  • None
Best Used for:
  • carrying spare mags

What Went Wrong???

by Dave, Verified Owner from NE, United States Written on July 11, 2018
First off, I want to say that I own MANY of these TUFF Products Original Mag Pouches. The "Original" version is the heavier duty with the double thick 1000D. I also own two of the cheaper 5-in-line single stacks. I like the better quality "Original" version best. The other 3, 6 & 10 space options do not come in the heavy duty construction. I have multiples of the 8-in-lines in both double and single stacks and multiples of the 5-in-line single stacks. This is the first time I have bought a 5-in-line double stack. VERY SLOPPY CONSTRUCTION. There is so much room in each place I could put three single stacks in each. The company advises that a double stack is supposed to fit 2 single stacks if that is how you would like to do it, but a bit of time with mags inserted is usual for the pouches to stretch and form fit. So, I could put 15 single stacks OR 5 double stacks AND 5 single stack mags in this 5 space pouch. None of my other pouches are like this, including the cheaper version of the 5-in-line single stacks. The mags are supposed to stay in the pouch on there own with the flap removed. Especially since it lists the gun mag model it's supposed to fit right on the add. This is obviously NOT a bad reflection on Optics Planet since they are a retailer. An additional double thickness of hook & loop hot glued behind the top half of the mags to the back, pushing the mags away from the back will fix it. Not sure if will buy any more. I expect superior quality control from TUFF. Bad ...

TUFF Products In-Line 5 Mag Pouch (Single Stack)

by Kenn, from WI, United States Written on January 15, 2017
Attention to detail in both design and construction was not spared in the least. Although empty mags want to catch on the way in, with a little break in that will resolve. Not even an issue really, if you stow spent mags in a back pocket anyway. This carrier holds each with the perfect tension and in a nicely compact package. This product is not broke, so please don't try and fix it. Should this product ever wear out, "Tuff Products" has a repeat customer in me.

unique product

by zach, from IL, United States Written on July 8, 2015
with only 7-8 rounds per magazine, I run out of ammo sooner when I shoot my 1911 than when I shoot my Glock. With the mag pouch, I can carry more magazines so that my round count is closer to my Glock's with 2 or 3 magazines.
Best Used for:
  • competative shooting

by Mattoad, from CA, United States Written on March 11, 2015
This is compact enough to fit on my vest and holds enough magazines I won't have to worry about running out soon. Construction is solid. Slightly hard to get tight on the molle system. Its A little loose

Tuff Products 5-in-line Mag Pouch

by Wolfer, from WY, United States Written on March 9, 2015
Just the ticket to "feed" a S&W pistol, and the matched kel-tec sub-2000. Removable flap can protect mags in the field, get it out of the way on the range, or adjust to different length mags. Use different colors to ID different guns / calibers. Buy top quality once - should last a lifetime.

Tuff five in line mag pouch

by Grandpa, from NJ, United States Written on March 6, 2015
When I received them I tried to put mags in the compartment they were so tight I had a very hard time duing that after I did that closing the top flap was hard to put back on if you have shorter magazine to work better a wider piece of Velcro should be used all in all until those shortcomings are taken care of I would not raccomend this item I'm sorry I bought a few of them

Great Multipurpose Solution

by Dr.Z., from NV, United States Written on January 19, 2015
This mag holder works well either on my gun belt or in my range bag to keep mags organized and ready to use. The fact that the cover is held on with velcro, and thus can be totally removed, if desired, makes it even more useful
