I like cheap ammo
Look, I get it. It's steel cased. Fine. But you know what? It shot just fine out of my off the shelf cheap AR. No jams, great for the range and not to lose a huge wad of cash right now. Rather buy another gun than expensive ammo!

would give 0 stars if I could.
We shot these Tullammo .223s in 2 different AR-15s and had same problem with almost every other shot in both guns. The empty casings would jam inside the barrel and wouldnt eject. Only way we could get it out was to hold charging handle back and use a metal rod down the barrel to force it to kick ou...

Steel cased ammo
There is something that they coat the casings with that causes your gun to jam. The ammo is cheap, but it is not very good for your gun barrel. I would definitely not recommend this ammo to anyone. The brass cased ammo may cost a little more but it doesn't harm your gun barrel, and it always fires.
Pros:
- None
Cons:
- Steel casings
Best Used for:
- A last resort type of ammo

Can't beat the price
Good target round that doesn't cost so dear, if u get them while on sale. Ordered 2 cases that came in a few days. For an odd reason they broke my order into shipments with different amounts in each. Nevertheless I received what I had ordered in good time
Pros:
- Cheap & budget friendly, functions.
Cons:
- None
Best Used for:
- target

.223 Remington 55 Grain Full metal Jacket
Purchased for a good price and surely beats paying freight charges that most if not all other on line locations charge. The ammunition feeds well. Have had no issues in my platform. Ejects well and is relatively clean. This ammo shoots very flat and hits what you aim at.
Pros:
- Cost & availability
Cons:
- None

Can't Be Beat For The Price
I've been shooting this same steel case ammo from my many AR-15 rifles and my Mini 14 for years. Mainly just shooting for fun and training, but I can honestly say that I have never had a single misfire at all. Only one failure to eject on a brand new rifle that wasn't cleaned or lubed prior to shooting the first mag. Excellent ammo for the price.
Pros:
- cost
Cons:
- Cannot Reload
Best Used for:
- Training

Pretty surprised actually
Ran really well in mini 14 and AR. Accuracy was surprising, outperformed some bigger named more expensive ammo. I usually run these in my Russian guns in 7.62, so I was more willing than most to give these a try in my pricier guns in .223 and yeah, I'll be buying some more for mag dumps and fun. No unburnt powder, or defective primer indications. Just fun ammo. Minute of clay pigeon at 100yds.
Pros:
- Cheap
Cons:
- Not allowed at indoor range
Best Used for:
- Plinkin

great price
Great price on bull ammo steel case ammo. I haven’t had any jams running the steel case. Came in separately boxes 20rd boxes which is berry handy for taking to the range. Would definitely buy tulammo again.

as always , good ammo
TulAmmo in 223 it’s a great cartridge, I used to use it all the time.
300 rounds straight thru mini 14 no issues at all .
In a month another 300 in total 600 rounds without cleaning no issues at all . Gun running great.
Right now this ammo little bit on expensive side, but there some other similar companies

Not appreciated enough
The thing that bothers me is the oriole that are too lazy to keep up with maintenance (cleaning) with there setup. I bought 100 rounds I think or more but they shot flawless. They are steel case but you just need to clean them more. Not a single jam, for range people it’s awesomely for field awesome bit there are more reliable sources that don’t require the maintenance and for reliability then spend the extra change per round. They are (were) dang Biden administration were a great piece for the friendly range community to have fun. I put an extra 300+ rounds of of Remington and Winchester through it with no problems. Even with plated steel casings. Just clean your setup and eliminate the build up every gin gets from firing. Problem solved from build up that will reduce your performance.

Solid and Cheap Enough
Gone are the good old days of cheap, steel case ammo, regardless Tula ran in my 14.5 BCM and MK-18. It was a little unpowered and the bolt struggled a bit to cycle but it still worked. Didn't have any issues with the ammo. Overall it ran and was good for plinking/practice. $0.50 is a pretty terrible price for this stuff but...hey, 2020-21.

Russian Gold
Glad I was able to get my hands on this Russian gold before big brother banned its sale. I'm sure the Russian government will be the one hurt by this decision. In all seriousness, I have ran close to 1000 rounds of TulAmmo through my rifles with no issues. We all know that we aren't buying match grade ammo when we buy it, but cheap training ammo is a nice thing to come by.
