rock solid head
I compared this to the anvil 30 and both are excellent heads. This one is an ounce heavier but just as easy to adjust and lock. Also, I really like how this one has the pins that lock into the 419 arca plate. Very pleased with the head.

Best ball heads on the market
Some of the best tripods / ball heads on the market! extremely well made and easy to use! Cant say enough good things about Two Vets Tripods products. The tension knob is a bonus and works really well at locking out the head. The Area 419 clamp is rock solid. Bonus that the entire head is a matte black, so slick looking with the single gold arca knob.
