I’m LEO and wanted extra rounds in my duty gun. I have a flared Magwell and I’ve tried 2 other mag extenders which didn’t work because they were too large and rubbed on the magwell where the flared magwell is. They fit and work. I don’t like the price , the black has coating has already scratched up badly from everyday use.

I’d look at other options if you have a regular magwell

Very pleased with the plus 5 baseplate with a stiffer spring. Loading the last couple of rounds are a little tough but the spring should break in and last longer.

Yea this part looks good and is made of aluminum, appears to be solid quality. But the inside edges on the channels that slide over the bottom of the magazine are razor sharp and not deburred. It slices into the polymer creating gouges, and causing a rocking side to side motion of about a millimeter. Otherwise I guess it’s not bad.

Great product works and looks phenomenal! It's easy to get on, but watch the video and dont be like me, assuming you can figure it out on your own! If you do, you'll just make yourself look stupid like me!

That being said, installation is still extremely easy!

I assembled this to my factory Glock 17 mag and could only fit 20 rounds in it. I unloaded it and banged the mag around and the spring slid into place. Just a suggestion to people who have the same problem?
Love its ability to drop free so easy with the added weight.
Price is a bit much due to the fact I could find factory Glock 9mm 24 round mags for less.
If you’re a gamer it makes sense with the drop free weight.

This thing is sturdy and functions properly. Not to mention, it looks great too! I haven't had any issues with my 1st one, and I've been running it for about a year.

Tyrant CNC lives up to its moniker. The quality of the company's products speaks to ferocious degrees of design and manufacturing expertise. To date, I've purchased two of Tyrant's pre-assembled Glock 17 magazine/extension combos and two of its Glock 17 five-round magazine extensions--the latter of which I installed on a pair of Gen 4 Glock 17 magazines. I'm happy to report all four magazines--the two I purchased pre-assembled and the two I retrofitted with Tyrant CNC extensions--all run flawlessly and look great in my Stealth Arms Platypus. While I would (and will) order additional magazine extensions from Tyrant CNC, I must report that installing the devices was significantly more difficult than advertised. I ended up having to buy a specialized tool to remove the OEM base-plates from the Glock magazines. Thankfully, subject tool was inexpensive. Alas, once I had the OEM base-plates off, the going didn't get much easier. Manually compressing the longer, stiffer magazine springs provided by Tyrant CNC while contemporaneously sliding the extensions onto the retention rails is a job worthy of an octopus. Once they're on, however, the end result is very-much worth the effort.
