While it works great at first and definitely works to make dropping a mag easier, it also will chew into your plastic mags where they catch the release. This isn’t just a good looking extended magazine release button, it fixes the squishy ineffective button feel of a stock button. The button is extended just enough to make hitting it easy and solid. Squishy button problem solved with this quality replacement part.

Im a glock certified armorer and installed in 2 different glock 43x and when loading a mag u can feel resistance and when pressing mag release it wont come out. Wasted my money, very disappointed.

extended mag release

Very pleased with the overall look and feel of the mag release. Just enough protrusion to make it easier to feel on the finger press. I installed this on my 43x for my own satisfaction an couldn't be more happier than i am.

Great tactical feel

Extended ridges offer better function of the magazine release. Normally wear gloves when shooting and this product allows me to quickly eject a empty mag and reload without missing a beat.

Mags Eject During Recoil

Magazines eject during recoil. There is extremely little purchase of the Tyrant steel G43X/G48 mag release. Depressing the release button 1/32" will drop the Shield Arms Gen 2 magazines. Much worse is the force from recoil will drop the magazine without touching the release button. This product is absolutely worthless for it's intended use with Shield Arms Gen 2 magazines.
