I’ve installed 2 of these and they work great. Not sure what the other reviewer was doing but they obviously should go back and watch the install videos or give up trying to build Glocks. Tyrant slide release

Tried to install with a Timney Ultimate Builders Kit Trigger for my GEN 3 Glock 19 and found it was incompatible, too thick as compared to the stock slide release would bind and not move. Finally tried to modify it slightly and the spring snapped in two, overall a frustrating experience.
Best Used for:
  • Probably would work fine with a stock trigger

Spring not strong enough

From time to time the slide lock will engauge without being pushed by an empty mag. Does not have proper spring tension. Too loosse.

misleading advertising

On the advertisement for the slides stop release. It has a picture of one item the old style ,what I received was the new style, which is fine, but it is misleading. Second issue installed into my gun. I could not slingshot my slide with a fresh loaded magazine turns out The spring went completely dead. I wish I could get my money back for this POS.

Believe the bad reviews!

I noticed that once installed it just didn’t sight right but I ran it anyways. It was functioning the way it was supposed to. But after putting around 2k rounds into a g19, it now won’t catch the slide when the pistol is out of ammo. Instead once the slide starts moving forward again the slide release catches another part of the slide and malfunctions. It’s hard to describe since I don’t know exact terminology but just know it failed for me there for I will not recommend or buy again. I should’ve went with the Glock extended slide release which is what I will be doing now.

  • failed after 3 months

I read the reviews and like a dumbass I still purchased the item. Turned my gen3 Glock 19 into a single shot pistol. Have to hit the slide release after every shot. Live and learn.
