Great product, no instructions.
Great modification if you don’t want another entry point for gunk into the unnecessarily complicated workings of the slide. Free advice: there is a black plastic sleeve (under very firm spring tension) that wraps around the striker. THAT is what must be pushed back to relieve tension off the cover plate you’re trying to remove. I went through three videos of guys showing “how to disassemble” before I finally found one that showed the sleeve. Once I pushed that back with a small flat-head screwdriver, I flipped the slide over and the plate fell out. It’s easy when you know!

The cover plate looks great I got it in black. I recommend it if you don’t like the factory cover plate that has a whole to see the striker.

The quality of machining looks great. It adds a nice little touch of color to the pistol but not too much. Was extremely easy to install in less than 5 minutes, And will keep dirt and grime out of the firing pin so it's mechanically useful as well

VP9 slide cover plate.
The item is well made. However it is a very tight fit and may require a nylon punch and hammer to fully seat. It does work on the A1 pistols.

Solid Piece
The back cover plate came quickly and was easy to install. Now I am not concerned with dirt or fuzz getting into the firing pin components.

nice way to dress up your VP9 or VP40
Fairly easy to install gives a little color to your pistol without breaking the bank.

Solid upgrade
I like the design of this product better than the stock one that came with my VP9. The black color blends in with the rest of my components and is visually a nice upgrade.
