Most Helpful Positive Review great trigger recommendation
its enhanced feel and improved performance is amazing. nicely smooth pull and a short reset. Such improved feel.
Most Helpful Negative Review Looks great, but?
Trigger is great looking and seems well machined. Install was straight forward. The problem is the trigger paddle screw and trigger transfer bar screw will back out after firing. I installed it and went to the range and put 50 round through it to confirm function. Everything went well till I re...

California hellcat has different install instructions

by Dolph, from CA, United States Written on December 23, 2025
The trigger was hard to install because my gun is from California and has a magazine safety that the company that makes these triggers did not address in their install videos so I had to figure it out through trial and error. If you have a California hellcat you have to remove the magazine safety first before installing trigger

Dope Trigger!

by Mr. Tac22, Verified Owner from VA, United States Written on November 26, 2025
Installation was straight forward! All depends on what gun it's being installed! But it makes my Hellcat Pro pop and also I would recommend getting a Apex performance spring kit, when I mean a lighter trigger pull wow is all I'm going to say!

Great looking trigger. Feels great but still has about the same amount of cushion before the wall and also same amount of pull pounds.

Looks Cool, Downgrades Trigger Feel

by CM, Verified Owner from ID, United States Written on July 19, 2024
This thing looks fantastic, but I swear it made my my trigger more spongey on take up, made a very friction-feeling break, and delayed its break all the way to the frame. Putting the polymer one back in, which is a shame. My fuddish dad looked at me after he shot two rounds through and said “your carry gun is cool, but that trigger is junk. I’ll stick with my 1911.,” as he handed it back to me and grabbed his 1911 out of his open-carry holster. I usually put my dad onto cool stuff, but this only brought me shame.

Nice but...

by BK, Verified Owner from MO, United States Written on July 12, 2024
I've had my Hellcat for 3 or 4 years now and I've never cared for how "gritty" the take up on the stock trigger felt but it was never bad enough to do anything about. Then a couple weeks back I shot someone else's HC that had a different trigger shoe and after just one mag, I had already decided my trigger was being replaced.

The price here was way better than on Tyrant site so I pulled the trigger, pun intended. Was really easy to install following the video on Tyrant site. It looks sharp. It feels good. Most importantly, it feels so smooth on the take up and has a very audible reset. For these reasons, I very generously give 3 stars and still recommend - see end of review.

The bad. Maybe this is partially my fault for not thinking to use loctite to begin with, but at the same time, you'd think before going to market Tyrant would have done some testing and fixed the issues or at the very least put loctite on the safety screw and provide some loctite for the other. Since I was only going over to the range for function testing I loaded up 3 mags, 17, 15 and 13 rounds. I didn't even get through all 35 rounds before the trigger wouldn't pull anymore. Didn't take long to realize that the screw I'd tightened down until I was afraid the allen key would snap had backed out pretty far, literally a couple more turns and I think it would have completely fallen out, and the screw for the trigger safety had also backed out a little. Luckily I always carry a set of allens wit...

Hellcat upgrade trigger

by TT, Verified Owner from MO, United States Written on February 25, 2024
Better trigger than the stock trigger. Fairly easy installment. Has a slightly better pull than factory, with better reset. Still a long ways however from the factory triggers on Walther PDP and Canik triggers.

looks good but dangerous

by C, Verified Owner from AZ, United States Written on February 20, 2024
Very disappointing, installed it and got delayed primer strikes. Something must be off in the tolerances. Completely unsafe. Luckily I was not shooting live ammo when I tested it. I looked it up online and other people who seem to have had a similar problem.
