UDAP bear cannister
I compared UDAP, Garcia Bear Cache and Counter Assault models (Optics Planet sells the clear transparent brand as well - this model did not inerest me). UDAP is around the second smallest on the market. I believe the Bear Boxer is the smallest cannister. For my purposes, this size best suited my pack. I was very interested in the Counter Assault but it is just too big and we all know that we tend to fill the available space. Only weakness if that can be said, is the top being tricky to remove once the screws turned versus the button feature on the Garcia. Not a deal breaker. A good choice and at the current price on this site a wise choice. Also note it being accepted at most American hiking areas. Read up on this issue as you have to check if a cannister is required in certain parks and if so, what are considered acceptable cannisters.

Standard Canister
Does NOT include the carrying case. It's the one that's usually rented out, so it's definitely sturdy. Works on bears in the High Peaks. Slight scuffing on sides and bottom, probably from shifting around inside the box. Not worried as it will be receiving significantly more scuffs. Good seat.
