Holds up great to recoil
I wanted to give some time before I reviewed this product. I shoot lots of heavy recoiling revolvers. Everything from 44 mag to 500 s&w. I average close to 10k shots a year. Most loads are heavy cast bullets over a strong dose of H110. After breaking several scopes(two leupolds and a Burris), I...

Tube Crushed
Optics seemed adequate, but after mounting and attempting to sight in the base became loose. Once it was removed and the mounts were loosened, I discovered the aluminum tube was crushed. Apparently I had over tightened the screws or installed the mounts incorrectly. Cheap mounts, possibly the wro...

Ultradot 30mm Red Dot sight
Mounted this on my Colt Anaconda. The red dot is crisp and clear, also looks good. Sighted this at 50 yards with three adjustments. The elevation and windage adjustments tracked very nicely which minimized shots fired in the sight in process.

Excellent red dot
Heard stories of its rugged reliability and I believe them. Serves on a Ruger Blackhawk 45 Colt, pretty stout loads for hunting, no shift in POI, so far so good, highly recommend! The red dot is a little bigger than many red dots, but it’s positives far outweigh that small inconvenience, heck, for a large frame handgun it just seems to fit, put it in a good chest rig and you’re gtg!

10/22 scope
Although it's marketed as a pistol optic, it works on my Ruger 10/22 with the weaver mount, and any other rifle, I'd imagine. I only sighted it in and shot with it a couple times but nothing seems to be wrong with this. I'd get the fancier Ultradot 6 if you have a black rifle and a little more money. This one matches aluminum guns well.

Ultradot 30
I have had the ultradot 30 on my smith and Wesson 41 performance center gun for about a month now and has really helped me get tighter groups shooting bullseye at SPC. Sales person was great and his price offer sealed the deal. The 30 went on the performance center gun with very little problems though because of the large front sight on this gun the rings had to be separated to get the scope on the gun. Just be careful and go slow with tightening the screws down, you probably could bend the tube if you were not careful. The black scope looks great on the 41. Shipping was quicker than and expected and my overall experience was 10 out of 10. Thanks - Mike
Pros:
