I bought one of these and immediately returned it because the light shut off on certain intensity settings and was cutting out on others. On top of that, the cords that hold the "bikini" style polarizing lens caps in place were so long that you could rotate one of the lenses 180 degrees and there would still be some slack.
About two months later, I bought another UD6 on sale, hoping for better results. The light doesn't cut out and the lens stays on. But as I turn the reticle selector from the smallest reticle toward the bigger ones, a square starts to appear around the reticle. The first Ultradot 6 that I returned didn't do that. This one is going back too.
Maybe I got the only two duds in existence but what are the chances? This seems like a great design but the quality is pretty unacceptable at this price, even if it is half the price of a EOTech.
Pros: The selectable reticle, all the way down to 2 MOA
Cons: Poor quality control
