Ez's Review of Ultradyne Apollo S Compensator

I mounted the Apollo S on a Tikka CTR in 6.5 Creedmoor. I was hoping to be able to see the "splash" because I couldn't with no brake on the gun. This brake absolutely does as advertised and now I can see the splash if I miss. Yes it is louder and the blow back is substantial and I'll have to be aware of what/who is beside me but this thing really works.
Pros:
  • reduces muzzle jump
Cons:
  • loud and substantial muzzle blast
