Garand One's Review of Ultradyne C4 Flip-Up .223/5.56 Dynamount Front Sight
I can't recommend the Ultradyne C4 front sight in either the Dynamount (barrel mount) configuration or the C4 Picatinny mount version of this sight. Don't believe the marketing hype behind this sight. This is possibly the sloppiest front sight on the market. The spring-loaded sight post floats inside of a spring loaded guard. Both are fit very loose, which causes extra play in the sight post. If the sight is folded down or the guard is touched in any way, the sight post will move and it does not return to zero. You also need two hands to adjust the sight post elevation, one to push down the guard and the other to adjust the post. You will need to grow a third arm to hold your gun.
If you own the Ultradyne C4 REAR sight (which is a nicely made sight) and would like a matching sight to go with it, I highly recommend the Ultradyne C2 front sight which is far superior to the C4 front sight. I also found that I preferred the regular blade front sight post over the aperture style front sight post. Trying to center a circle within a circle and then trying to center the target inside of that was a little frustrating. This would work well if you're shooting off of a bench at a round dot, but in the real world a blade sight seems to work much faster and easier in my opinion.

Pros:
- Quality feel when folding up or down
Cons:
- Loose & sloppy sight post, does not repeat
