Solid mount but the small Allen screws are easy to strip. Low profile and one piece construction makes for a solid mounting bracket but I could ask for a more tapered profile on the metal dovetail attachment piece. If you have a narrow channel on your dovetail it may take some extra travel effort to keep the rail aligned while installing on your gun.
