I now have 5 of these. This is a great product and a good value. It's well made and the strap handles enable easy carry to the range. At the range, it opens flat to provide a padded working surface. The size easily accommodates 1873 Colt 44 revolvers with 7.5-inch barrels (13-inch). It also accommodates 1851 Colt 44 revolvers with 7.5-inch barrels (13.5-inch). It's a little snug with 1860 Colt 44 revolvers with 8-inch barrels (14-inch). It works, nut it really could use another 1/2 inch for the 1860 44s. Overall, the 14- by 7-inch capacity makes it a very flexible carrier of your favorite high-value engineering masterpiece. Uncle Mike's made a winner.
