The zipper does not work well even after soaping. The sides are not reinforced so they collapse which may be why the zipper isn't functional. In addition, the removable Velcro holster is not easily fastened around a firearm. My .380 and 9mm both slip out if the notebook is tilted and they aren't wrapped and attached exactly so. Way too much effort is involved to make this work appropriately. I have never used it as I can't be sure a loaded gun won't fall out if the notebook is tilted the wrong way upon opening.

Notebook Pistol Holster
This small notebook comes in very handy when a gun is wanted but on body carry is not practical
