I was confused at first how to set up the velcro part that hold the 9MM. A short instruction sheet would have been useful to me. It is a very good product and use it daily. Thanks for your prompt order delivery.
Pros: compact
Cons: snap buckle stiff
Off body carry option
I was looking for something small yet large enough to carry a M&P Shield with the 8 round mag. This item works for me but it may not be the best option. I am of the opinion that a CCW on your person is way better than no CCW. The draw / access is slow but I do not expect this to be a major problem in real life. I can carry the 7 round mag as a back up in the pack as well. It will also carry my Glock 23 if desired. A small compartment will carry your phone and keys and a few credit cards/ cash with ease. Do not try to load it up with your blowout kit. There is not that much room. If you want to carry everything you consider a requirement for CCW you may want to look to a larger pack.
Overall I consider it a good option for the price. The additional Velcro loop that attaches to your belt helps keep the pack close to your body. I've worn it and never had any comments as "nice gun," so the general population does not think OMG a gun when they see a guy in shorts and a tee shirt wearing a pack.

Uncle Mikes Compact Pack Black
Workmanship appears to be good quality. Easy fit for a J-frame Smith and 3 Bianchi Speed Strips and an HKS Speedloader. Additionally, a Kahr MK-9 and three magazines fits just as well. Would recommend for hot weather casual carry.

Practical , convenient and non-threatening
This is my second Uncle Mikes concealment pouch. The first lasted through years of daily use. This one seems to be even more ruggedly built. It's the right size for all the things that I need to carry everyday, which include a wallet, keys, a small flashlight and prescription medications. The adjustable holster secures most compact handguns nicely, and the two way zipper makes access quick and easy. The strong belt loop on the rear adds to security. It's not stylish, but this method of carry works in all weather and in just about every situation where casual dress is acceptable.
Pros: Affordable, rugged, non-threatening, convenient.
Cons: Dorky

Uncle Mikes Compact Fanny Pack Black 88751
I would still highly recomend this bag, due to its compact design. I am still able to fit my medium/fullsize pistol inside without too much difficulty. It also helps in promoting to only carry what is essential; keys, I.D., gun & extra mag, etc. I still like it a lot and use it regularly.
Pros: small & compact, appearance is not questionable to others
Cons: securing strap inside does not prevent gun to fall out if your movement persists while bag is opened, but does prevent unessesary movement when bag is secured
