These are true +P 45 colt hunting loads. Averaging 1645 fps muzzle velocity from a Rossi 92 carbine with 16” barrel. That is 1500 ft.lbs of muzzle energy with a quality XTP bullet for hunting. Very consistent accuracy and reliable feeding after 40 rounds tested. No issues. Averaging 1.5” to 1.75” 5-shot groups at 50 yards using a 2.5x20mm scout scope just rested on a shooting table. These should be great for deer hunting within 100yards. They are also cheaper and seem more consistent than similar loads from Buffalo Bore. Very impressed with this Underwood ammo. It was my first time trying them, and definitely plan to buy more and try their 250gr FMJ loads for general shooting and 300gr +P loads for hunting as well. Highly recommend.
