I was very skeptical of the 68-grain weight, but the speed of 1300 fps more than made up for the weight, as the energy at impact (E=mc'2) is more dependent on speed than weight. This bullet doesn't work through expansion, rather the spinning nose of the bullet tears a cavitation zone creating the wound channel. Also, with the increased speed, they will go through several barriers to seek out their target. I just used them in my new S&W Bodyguard 2.0 and they fed flawlessly. This is my new go to for small caliber self-defense.
