Initial Eval

At present I have "not" yet "used" this product {United Cutlery USMC Kukri Machete w/Sheath}. So I cannot give you a "comprehensive evaluation! However, on initial review; knife itself looks and feels "sturdy enough" for at least normal use. Feels good in hand and "balance" not bad,.......... "THE BLADE ITSELF NEEDS TO BE HONED TO A SHARPER EDGE" - than the edge on this produce as I received it! I will do this myself although I should not have had to. Finally the "sheath" seems to be "durable enough" to last for some time/abuse,...... I will of course find out for myself.

Nice Fit and feel

Nice Machete for the price. Feels good in the hand. I like the double surrations and the saw. The saw works very well and cuts fast. I would have liked the blade to be a bit sharper, but with a quick sharpening got it to where I like it.
