Working dog collar

by Sheriff k9, Verified Owner from CA, United States Written on March 31, 2022
I had to put my own holes into the collar for the e collar prongs but after a few trial and error efforts I got it down. Goes on my working k9 easily. I cut the d ring off as an e collar shouldn’t be used as his leash. E collar sits below a fur saver. Super simple. I could totally see the frustration though, as it’s not clear how the e collar is suppose to go
Pros:
  • Thick durable a
Cons:
  • Takes some T and E and Advil
Best Used for:
  • Working dogs e collar holder not leash collar

United States Tactical collar

by MrJones, from NC, United States Written on August 25, 2020
After opening the box and taking the collar out of the plastic I noticed how rigid and stiff it was. I measured both of my animals necks prior to ordering and both are within the min-max fit range. The measurements of the material used in making the collar are not correct. There’s an extra quarter inch of material which makes it sit awkwardly on my dog and doesn’t allow for the handle to be utilized at all. This keeps the collar raised off the animal not matter how it’s adjusted. There’s no way to close the flap around the buckle as it is too small and doesn’t fit all the way around it. The spot that is designated for using an electronic collar doesn’t have any holes for the collar and nothing to secure it in place with once you close the flaps. It’s as if they never tried the finished prototype on an actual animal. It’s similar to a ray Allen elusive collar but doesn’t quite make it all the way. At all. After messing with it for almost ten min I’ve decided that there’s no real use for it with an electric collar and in order to get it to to actually work like it’s described I’ll have to do some work to it. Luckily I have a working elusive collar for my working dog already. I’m definitely not happy with it.
Pros:
  • Maybe I can dr it up to actually do what it was advertised to do
  • Lots of Velcro so I can put dumb patches on it
Cons:
  • Measurements made at the bullet are misleading
  • pieces are missing
  • handle not usable
Best Used for:
  • Holding patches
  • Not holding an electric collar
  • basic collar
