The Best Option for a 3x
First, you'll need the Unity FAST optic mounts due to the height. It WILL NOT work with standard height optic mounts. However, I have both and it's a great combo. I've used flip-to-side magnifiers before and hated how they throw off the balance of the rifle. Unity has put me back on the magnifier wagon with this mount. It folds up and down with light but deliberate pressure. When it's down, I don't even notice the magnifier. I've only had one issue with this mount. With the magnifier up, after ~10 rounds the magnifier will slide forward far enough to stop the mount from going back down. It's t...

Under stress or on the move, it just works
. The updated Unity Tactical FTC magnifier snaps into place cleanly and disappears when stowed. Unity clearly listened to real-world feedback and refined an already innovative design into something genuinely bomb-proof. If you run modern kit and actually move with your rifle, this version is absolutely worth it.

This mount only accepts 30mm magnifiers... It also would NOT go high enough to line up with Unity Tactical FAST Micro Mount...

Best magnifier mount on the market
Unity makes a great product. If you’re shooting under tubes, in a gas mask or just trying to keep a head up posture, the 2.26” height is what you want. This flip to center design is perfection, your magnifier stays linear with the centerline of your weapon when not in use, and keeps a lower profile than a flip to side which avoids snagging on gear or environmental obstructions. The construction is rock solid without adding alot of weight. And if you’re running an op or training in an environment where you don’t need magnification, the QD lever lets you quickly ditch the extra weight on your weapon.
