Going on two modbuttons and both had the same issue. The wiring at the surefire plug end had a bad connection and needed to be wiggled in order to get the light to activate. Tried on multiple surefire DS00 tailcaps to confirm it wasn't the cap.
Button is trash. Ended up returning. Don't waste your money on it.
