Unity Tactical Modbutton Lite Single Lead Surefire 4.5in Switch
The design for how it fits in your rifle is great. Gives me a proper grip with a thumb pad I can just squeeze if I want light. Works fine. The mounting system is wonky and very cheap but works. I wouldn’t use this in a hard use rifle but works fine for non hard use. I would expect this plastic to br...

Going on two modbuttons and both had the same issue. The wiring at the surefire plug end had a bad connection and needed to be wiggled in order to get the light to activate. Tried on multiple surefire DS00 tailcaps to confirm it wasn't the cap.
Button is trash. Ended up returning. Don't waste your...

The sure fire type pug is not comparable with the streamlight on my home defense rifle. I need to get a new tail cap before I can actually use this switch
Pros:
compact
Cons:
None

Added this onto a Cloud Defensive legacy body to get full power from my Rein 3.0 head. My old surefire SR07 was limiting the current to the light and didn't allow me to take advantage of all the power. way less rail space is taken up and it like the screw on feature, its a lot more secure.

First of all the screws used to mount this are complete junk. Push the pad and sometimes the light comes on, sometimes it doesn't and sometimes you get the flicker effect. Sent one back, the replacement one was just as bad.
Pros:
None
Cons:
Plenty
Best Used for:
nothing
Would recommend: No

I chose the Modbutton because of the shorter cable option. I have 2 of them now, and they both flicker horribly. The light reacts differently depending on where on the button you press. And it is incredibly fatiguing on the hand/thumb to activate the light for long periods; this also contributes to flicker. It takes a lot of downward force to activate the light to full power. I think I'm going to try the Axon SL instead.
Pros:
sleek and compact
Option for 4" cable, good for SBR
Cons:
Bad Ergonomics
Flickers
Best Used for:
light use
Non-duty use
